The funniest thing happened this week. Ruby has been home sick with RSV and for several days was totally listless. One of those days I was trying desperately to get her to eat and she kept pointing up at the wall and groaning. I kind of ignored it at first but then she became more and more persistent about the wall. So I asked her what she wanted and turned around to try and figure it out. Then it hit me. We have a lovely selection of games displayed on a shelf on the wall. So I began pointing trying to figure out which one she liked. Lo and behold, Yahtzee was the game of choice. When I pointed to it, she grinned and tried to laugh. I saw a smile that I hadn't seen in four days. We played Yahtzee together. And then she ate and drank for me. Needless to say we have been play A LOT of it this week.
Moral of the story: If your child gets RSV, pull out the Yahtzee.

I am so sad that Ruby has been so sick. But I love the moral of the story and that yahtzee has helped her to feel better. What can we do for you? WE love you Ruby!! Get better soon.
