"Life is hard, but life is simple. Get on the path and never, ever give up. You never give up. You just keep on going. You don't quit, and you will make it.
There is only one way to happiness and fulfillment. Jesus Christ is the Way. Every other way, any other way, whatever other way is foolisheness."

I have been reprimanded by my own husband about lack of recent posts. I believe his exact words were, "Val, why haven't you updated since then! A lot has happened in the last six weeks. People NEED to know how cute our children are." This is for you Perry.

A sleeping baby is always precious.
Ruby with her favorite uncle

Purple thrush face. This was on day two after the medicine.
I was so happy that when she aimed, she completely missed the blanket!
Ruby's first day back at the park since winter. She had a blast riding in the stroller and playing on the toys.

Ruby's Easter dress. I made it. I wish I could say that my first one turned out this good.
She's not really sleeping in this picture.

Ruby and dad watching conference together.
This is classic. I always under estimate how long Ruby's arms are. Perry had left the room shortly after dinner and I got up to feed Claire (you can see me in the background). Ruby was left at the table because she wasn't quite done yet. Evidentally I left the FULL juice pitcher a little too close to her. She pulled it onto her lap and was trying to drink straight from the spout. You can see remnants of the juice on the table but the bulk of it went right down her front side and she was sitting in it. You can see how upset she was about the whole thing. She was so quite and sneaky too! I didn't hear a thing (at five feet away) until the juice started dripping onto the floor through the cracks in her chair.
Claire doesn't really like that pacifier much. I kind of force it upon her sometimes though if she is cranky and I really have to go to the bathroom.

Ruby had just woken up from a nap and wanted Claire to come to bed with her.
If those eyes aren't crossed then you may need glasses. So adorable!
Can you guess what she is thinking in this one?
This is one of my favorite pictures!
Ruby has really been into picking noses. I tried to stop her (after I took the picture).

Look at that hair. Don't know where she gets it, more importantly, I don't know how to control it. Any tips?
Snuggle time. I love that she loves to snuggle still.
Grandma Green and baby Claire.
Ruby thought it was so cool to hang on to Grandma-nette's bed while watching a show.
